My father had a auto parts and hardware store in downtown Ferris, Texas - just south of Dallas, for many years. After he died, I kept the store open, but after 7 years, it just wasn’t any fun anymore. During the last year of the operation, we tried selling used items and antiques in the parking lot on the weekends, and made more money at that endeavor than we did running the parts store all week. So we called the auctioneer out to sell off the parts, remodeled the store and opened up Monk’s Antiques and Gifts. I started selling on Ebay at the same time which made a nice addition to the store sales, which were quite good for a couple of years. Then as the economy slowed - at least in our part of the country - the Ebay sales picked up, and the store sales eventually dropped to the point that we decided to close shop and simply sell online exclusively.
We encourage everyone to give Ebay a try. Their online Ebay Store is one of the greatest values available.
We hope your enjoy viewing our items we have for sale. If you don’t find what you are looking for, give us a call and perhaps we will know where to find it!

One more thing. If you are looking for a really good web site company, or someone to help you get started on Ebay, we suggest you visit XEARA. Their work is fantastic and the rates are really good.
